IT Service Manager (R&D Facility)

As IT Service Delivery Manager you will work closely with Worldwide Real Estate & Facilities Building Management Lead, Site teams, and the Product Expert to ensure alignment and drive the Tech strategy and road map for Facilities Management and WREF (Worldwide Real Estate & Facilities) Scientific and Building Management Services (ex: Building Automation Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, Human-Machine Interfaces). Also, WREF manages the facilities at approximately 28 budgeted sites and 83 managed sites across 26 countries. This includes facilities support and maintenance of buildings and scientific equipment and management of building management systems.

In the role you will ensure that real problems are solved for the customer groups and that high value technology solutions are delivered from a user centric standpoint. 

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goal  

• 5 years relevant experience in major global Tech organization  
• Knowledge of facilities and service management systems  
• Track record in successful Tech strategy development, solution design, programme and product delivery and service management 
• Excellent relationship management, strong influencing and communication skills including at a senior level  
• Knowledge of Agile methods (lean, SCRUM, SAFe, etc)  
• Knowledge of facilities and service management systems 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps and Power BI 
• Excellent English communication skills    

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:  

• Knowledge of Microsoft HyperV virtualization platform  
• Experience with Cisco Network/Firewall hardware devices   
• Knowledge of SQL queries/reporting   
• Oracle/SQL Server database administration
