As a Senior Corporate IT Specialist, you will be part of the Global Service Desk, where you will be able to improve your knowledge of the systems and tools used by the corporation.

On a daily basis, you will be a part of 2nd line of remote support for internal users located in our 28 offices around the world and our clients, which is a great opportunity to improve English skills. The Service Desk second level Team aims to provide IT services to chosen Lionbridge offices and support level one Service Desk Agents in more complicated issues and contacts with other central support groups.

As part of your tasks you will:

  • Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers in chosen LB offices;
  • Maintain and repair technological equipment or peripheral devices;
  • Install well-functioning LAN/WAN and other networks and manage components (servers, IPs etc.);
  • Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and protection from attacks;
  • Conduct IT security audits for chosen LB offices;
  • Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated;
  • Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality;
  • Arrange maintenance sessions to discover and mend inefficiencies;
  • Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference;
  • Offer timely technical support and teach users how to utilize computers correctly;
  • Conduct training and practice sessions for newly hired agents;
  • Coordinate IT documentation for supported offices.
