The department supports all of the financial activities to manage the ongoing operations of a department of over 1000 individuals.
The team itself manages the internal financial processes covering approximately 60m CHF of 'Run the Bank' costs and a portfolio of 40m CHF of 'Change the Bank' projects, across permanent staff, contractors and vendor resources in 10 global locations.
The team currently has a closely working team of six people across London, Wroclaw and Pune, and regularly interacts multiple times per day. The team also works closely with the Business Management team (in the same locations) and also the Project Management and Portfolio Management Office (PMO) functions.
In addition, there is regular interaction with a central IB & CRCO COO function who consolidate the financial data for all product lines in the division. This specifically includes detailed review and analysis of the CA data, and also Professional Fees and Software contracts with third party vendors.
The role requires someone who enjoys being a 'data detective' and is happy manipulating large amounts of data as well as reconciling values across multiple sources.
Also, the individual needs to able to balance multiple priorities often with incomplete information. This requires someone who is happy to ask questions to determine exactly what is required, and also be flexible with changing urgency and scope of tasks.
Who we're looking for?
- MS Excel reporting and analysis of high volume data is a must
- Strong communication skills. Fluent in written and spoken English
