One of the world's largest telecommunication providers is searching for a Software Developer. The project focuses on a video streaming platform development. You'll be developing and maintaining a mixture of production-ready components for various digital enterprise systems, including VOD, user data collection, and advertising content processing and delivery.
Our team spans across multiple time zones (majorly, USA & Poland) and covers the entire product life cycle, including architecture, design, coding, DevOps, testing, and the rest of the software development activities required to ensure uninterrupted content streaming service to millions of customers worldwide. We work using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) as a process framework and use software development best practices such as CI/CD, TDD, etc.
- Design and implement new features for set-top-boxes
- Investigate issues and bug fixing for set-top-boxes (50% of the time)
- Build new Head-End systems based on AWS services (KDS, KDF, KDA, Athena, Lambda/Step Functions, RDS, S3, Athena, etc.) and other solutions (Grafana, ELK, Prometheus, etc)
- Support the existing microservices (Java 8, Spring, Golang) and implement new ones (Golang only)
- Working in a team according to Scrum/Agile principles
- Java 8 and higher: 1+ years of commercial experience
- Golang: 0.5+ years of experience
- Good verbal and written communication English skills
