What will you do:

• Attending meetings and workshops with the client to understand requirements, challenges, and risks.
• Developing technology solution in cooperation with various technology teams using existing industry standards and best practices.
• Creating design and support documentation for the delivered services with adherence to client’s processes and procedures.
• Resolve incidents, problems affecting the operations/availability of high-profile production Storage and Backup platforms
• Influence standards methods and best practices for large scale enterprise systems
• Integrate and Implement alerts with unified incident management tools
• Manage service availability and scalability through process tools and automation Perform post-mortems and optimize incident response processes
• Guide systems engineers in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies

Hybrid work possibilities

As part of this announcement, for people from outside Łódź, Katowice and Warsaw (living in Poland, more than 50 km from the nearest office), in addition to the traditional form of cooperation, we also offer the possibility of hybrid work, understood as work from the place of residence where visits to the office will be limited to a few times in year. For people working in this mode, we anticipate the same path and development opportunities as for people working from offices, additional communication and physical integration meetings twice a year. What do we expect from you:

• Administration and support experience in at least two of the following technologies:
• Storage: Dell-EMC, HPE, IBM, Hitachi,
• Backup: NetBackup, NetWorker, HP Data Protector, Avamar, Data Domain. Commvault.
• Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment,
• Good English communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work within a team and in co-operation with other teams and third parties,
• Ability to support infrastructure on on-call duty,
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills,

Desirable (nice to have): 

• Public cloud knowledge/experience (Azure/AWS/Google)
• Storage/Backup/Cloud certificates
