Our team is in charge of development and maintenance of a large scale enterprise system consisting of Intranet web applications and back-end services. The system provides data management and workflow in the Client Lifecycle Management area in one of the top tier Investment Bank. We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who would help us progress with implementation of new and maintenance of existing platforms, utilizing Java8, Spring, Oracle, Azure, etc
Solid understanding of Core Java concepts and design patterns.
Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code and automation.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs in applications, and devise solutions to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Produce unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for the new and existing features.
Collaborate with peers on designs, code review and testing.
Experience developing in Azure cloud environment (Good to have)
Ability to work with the team in Agile methodologies.
MUST
- Solid experience in JVM programming languages (ideally Java11+) and design patterns
- Proven track record of enterprise level application development for 6+ years
- Experience with using relational databases.
- Extensive experience of writing unit tests
- Practical use of engineering best practices (SOLID, Clean Code)
- Experience with Agile mode of working
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Cloud based technologies / Kubernetes
- Experience in or willing to learn Java reactive programming/ Spring Webflux
