You will be part of the IB Credit Risk Monitoring Platform team who is dedicated to define and develop the strategic tools and projects for the Credit Risk users. The team is responsible for the broad range of applications for data sourcing, data analytics, UI Visualizations, and workflow solutions. We provide the systems needed by the Investment Bank, Wealth Management to manage Credit Risk Exposure of its global Front Office trading functions. Also providing the systems that ensure Bank's compliance to various regulatory requirements.

We're looking for software engineers to:

  • provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services.
  • analyze business requirements for the IB Credit Risk Monitoring Platform
  • design, plan and deliver sustainable front-end solutions using modern programming languages.
  • providing technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications.
  • conduct code reviews and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC.
  • see that proper operational controls and procedures are implemented to process move from test to production.

Your expertise

  • a bachelor's degree/ master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related subject
  • ideally 9+years of total working experience, ideally 5+years' experience in React.
  • relevant experience in front end application development for banking industry is a plus.
  • a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
  • knowledge of ReactJS, experience with Typescript
  • experience working with Redux in the context of a React application.
  • experience with Node.js build tools (NPM, Yarn, Gulp, Babel, Webpack)
  • a solid understanding of state management technologies/approaches
  • the experience of leveraging REST and interaction with ReactJS (Axios, $http or similar)
  • the experience in unit/E2E/regression testing
  • the experience of using version control tooling and CI / CD: GitLab
  • the excellent communication skills and experience in liaising with other teams, as well as strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • a comprehensive knowledge in Software Engineering with frontend languages especially JavaScript, HTML and CSS
