As a Chapter Area lead of the newly created third Data Analyst chapter in Poland, you will act as:

Data Analyst domain expert:

  • The key contributor to a product team, working on functional/technical deliverables and contributing to everyday business challenges.
  • Share knowledge within the Group and actively stay updated on innovations and trends within the area.
  • Skilled network builder (internally/externally) and cross-functional collaboration is crucial and natural.

A line manager for Data Analyst chapter members:

  • Passionate about creating the right environment for chapter members - Data Analysts - to develop competencies and skills.
  • Eager to coach people and develop the chapter expertise level by upskilling and recruiting new team members.
  • Act as a role model and lead your Group by example toward the new ways of working, sharing best practices, tools, and methods.

 You will be a part of the Data Analyst Chapter Leadership team and report to the Head of the Chapter Data Analyst.

These will be some selected responsibilities:

  • Build & develop competence, including attracting and developing talents
  • Build a Data Analyst community across the Volvo Group and enable knowledge sharing across domains
  • Work as a Data Analyst expert
  • Develop the working methods for Data Analysts
  • Secure "external" input and best practice sharing in the community
  • Manage capacity planning and new requests for Data Analysts

To be successful in this position, you have a university degree or equivalent and several years of experience as a data analyst practitioner, as well as experience in leadership within line organizations or projects. 

To succeed in this role, you are passionate about data analytics, including enabling business users to gather user stories, data visualization, analytics development, and data storytelling.

You have hands-on experience in how data increases insight and effectively operationalizes a smarter, data-driven business.

Furthermore, you are knowledgeable in the areas of data quality, data security and data architecture and how this needs to be accounted for in solutions. 

The right candidate will be able to think, act strategically, operate, and implement change tactically, effectively dealing with ambiguity and managing change priorities in a business-focused, fact-based, and collaborative way to achieve real impact. T
