As our Engineering Manager, you will be instrumental in the development of our innovative, highly engaging app. You’ll collaborate with a skilled team to craft exceptional user experiences, continually pushing the boundaries of mobile gaming. Core Responsibilities:

  • Direct oversight of Lead developers working across various teams or products.
  • Leading by example, fostering a strong sense of purpose and community, while promoting a healthy work culture in line with company values.
  • Defining and ensuring adherence to best practices in game development.
  • Regularly reporting on project progress, key objectives, and any issues to senior management.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries related to the game’s technology.
  • Assisting Product Owners and Technical Leads in setting the project direction and providing early estimates.
  • Ensuring products are up-to-date with both external and internal technological advancements.
  • Collaborating with product leadership and Business Analysts on roadmap development and product rollouts.
  • Monitoring product performance and ensuring timely resolution of issues in collaboration with Product Owners and Technical Leads.
  • Leading investigations into project inefficiencies or issues and driving efforts to resolve them.
  • Partnering with other Engineering Managers to identify and implement cross-product tools and solutions.
  • Managing engineering talent, maintaining team motivation, and optimizing team performance.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Game Engineer, with at least 3 years in an Engineering Manager role.
  • Extensive experience with Unity development.
  • Experience managing QA teams and processes is a bonus.
