Senior SAP Commerce Engineer

Responsibilities

• Participate in software design, development, documentation, and implementation using SAP Commerce
• Meet project objectives within specified time frame parameters and defined requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance
• Optimize application performance through code analysis and refactoring
• Assist with the deployment and configuration of SAP Commerce solutions
• Lead and mentor junior engineers on best practices and coding standards
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP Commerce updates and new features
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering
• 6+ years of significant backend development experience
• Hands-on production experience in Java 17+ and Spring Framework
• Experience in application development using Git, Dynatrace, Kibana/OpenSearch
• Proven track record of experience using SAP Commerce Cloud 2211
• Strong knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, including TDD and/or BDD
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Experience with RESTful services and APIs
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL or NoSQL

Nice to have

• Experience with CI processes and tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
• Preferred experience with SAP composable storefront (Spartacus)
