Responsibilities:
Spatial Transformation and Orientation:
Develop algorithms to transform spatial data between different coordinate systems and reference frames.
Ensure accurate orientation of virtual objects within various real-world and virtual spaces.
3D Environment Creation:
Design and build immersive 3D environments based on existing maps and real-time data.
Integrate determined objects and features into AR scenes to enhance user experience.
Computer Vision Integration:
Implement computer vision techniques to detect and track objects within the AR environment.
Utilize machine learning models to improve object recognition and spatial understanding.
Geospatial Mapping:
Map objects accurately in 3D space using precise geocoordinates.
Collaborate with GIS specialists to incorporate geospatial data into AR applications.
Sensor Data Fusion:
Develop methods to fuse GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) data with IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) data for accurate positioning.
Ensure real-time processing and integration of sensor data to determine exact coordinates and orientation of moving objects, such as vehicles.
Performance Optimization:
Optimize AR applications for performance and scalability across various platforms and devices.
Conduct testing and debugging to ensure reliability and efficiency of spatial computations.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and product managers, to define project requirements and deliverables.
Communicate technical concepts and project progress effectively to stakeholders.
Research and Development:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in AR, computer vision, and geospatial technologies.
Experiment with new tools and methodologies to enhance AR capabilities and performance.
