About the Team
Financial Markets (FM) has expertise combined with deep local market knowledge to deliver a variety of risk management, financing and investment solutions to our clients. The FM team offers capabilities across origination, structuring, sales, trading and research. Project
As a senior developer, you’ll be driving our platform forwards and delivering quality solutions to business-critical customer requirements. You will collaborate in a dynamic global team with fellow technologists, business analysts, project managers and business stakeholders across multiple locations.
- Collaborate with fellow developers, financial market infrastructure experts, testers, architects and operations teams to deliver working solutions.
- Acting as A Senior JavaScript (TypeScript) developer with good software design principles and the ability to write robust code and accompanying test suites
- Take responsibility for identification, estimation and reporting on of progress of tasks.
- Ability to write efficient, clear code and be able to articulate what has been implemented and why
- Develop a deep understanding of the mechanics of required Financial Markets applications and applying this knowledge.
- Take ownership and responsibility for the full development lifecycle
MUST
Mandatory Skills ( Must have)
- An excellent Core JavaScript & Type Script developer with good software design principles and the ability to write robust code and accompanying test suites (8Y+ years overall with Front End technologies)
- Minimum 5+ years hands on development with investment banking IT experience
- React, npm/yarn and webpack
- Strong CSS
- Single page modular application development
- Understanding of real-time (event-driven) application development
- Ability to develop latency sensitive systems
- Financial Market domain knowledge
- trading technology experience or equivalent
Highly expected:
- Familiarity with RX & Java is a plus
- Familiarity with git and Atlassian toolset
