Developer - Platform Infrastructure

This position will be part of Sapiens’ Digital division.

What you’ll do: 

• As a member of the Platform team you will be developing innovative cloud-based solution, and will integrate it into the Sapiens products to ensure a unified and scalable platform infrastructure and solutions.
• You will take an active part in all development phases, including research, design, development, testing, CI and CD using frontline and best technologies including Java 8,Node.js, React, NoSQL persistency, Docker, Kubernetes and more
• You will be expected to take an initiative approach to improve code, tools, and process. Be open minded to walk in a different path and to deliver quickly whilst maintaining high quality.
• Members of the team usually work closely with other Sapiens R&D teams, to leverage knowledge and work done and often to be a role model for other teams regarding processes and activities.
• Play a role in the entire life cycle of development you have to be motivated to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects from end to end.
• Ability to meet aggressive timelines and motivate the team to meet the product deadlines.
• Design and implement a feature/module in a web application

• 3+ years experience in backend technologies such as Java, Node.js
• 3+ years experience in frontend technologies such as React, Angular
• 3+ years experience with database management (SQL and NoSQL databases), microservices architecture, and API design.
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), security best practices for both backend and frontend development.
• Great English written and spoken communication skills
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Ability to work in an agile development environment
• Knowledge in modern architectural methods and patterns such as Microservice Architecture, Cloud Computing and Containers (Docker) – Advantage
• Experience in TypeScript - Advantage
• Experience in Low Code / No Code Applications – Advantage
• Experience in writing Detailed Designs, High Level Solutions – Advantage
