Role and Responsibilities

As a Power BI Analyst, you will:

• Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Clean, transform, and prepare data using Power Query for analysis.
• Create and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Write and optimise DAX formulas for calculated columns, measures, and tables.
• Present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reports.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data governance policies.
• Continuously improve and optimise Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI (Desktop and Service).
• Solid understanding of DAX and Power Query.
• Experience with SQL for querying and managing relational databases.
• Familiarity with data visualization best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• A proactive, "can-do" attitude with a passion for data-driven decision-making.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, report creation, and dashboard development.
• Hands-on experience with Copilot for Power BI for report generation and automation
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Excel for data preparation and analysis.
• Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results without relying on AI tools.
