A taste of what you’ll do 

The Information Security Analyst is responsible for driving the security-related tasks of the IT operations across our Company, whilst also working with various departments to ensure continual abidance by industry best practices, be aware of and mitigate security risks whilst continually improving the overall Company’s information security culture and posture. 

  • Champion all aspects of information security strategy and operations across the Company 
  • Maintaining organizational readiness and compliance with ISO 27001 
  • Driving information security initiatives including Security Awareness and Training 
  • Independently plan and perform vulnerability testing against various systems utilizing a variety of industry-standard security tools to conduct a mixture of automated and manual-based security assessments 
  • Creating and regularly maintaining information security and related policies and guidelines 
  • Conducting and/or acting as the primary point of reference for information security audits 
  • Performing regular internal reviews of access rights and maintain a centralized detailed permissions list 
  • Ensuring the risk assessment within the IT area is up to date whilst also carrying out continual monitoring 
  • Managing the security monitoring of the IT infrastructure 
  • Handling day to day alerting and reporting of endpoint management and ensuring necessary actions are undertaken by responsible teams 
  • Threat monitoring via various security feeds

Who and what we are after? 

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role 
  • Knowledge of standards such as ISO27001, PCI DSS or ITIL 
  • Bachelor in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar 
  • Holds CEH, Security+ or similar certification 
  • Passion for ethical hacking and attack techniques – you can probably speak about it in more exciting way than we do! 
  • Proven knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
