As a Senior Software Engineer (Python) you will be joining an agile project team using state of the art cloud components. In the project phase you would be responsible for designing and implementing solutions according to business requirements, as well as for the code quality and the transition to the maintenance lifecycle.
How you will get the job done
- analyzing requirements in collaboration with the IT Product Manager and business stakeholders
- designing and implementation of complex programs from agreed specifications under consideration of architecture guidelines and coding guidelines
- implementing and executing unit tests and supports business testing
- reviewing existing code with respect to programming guidelines
- documenting developments before release to productive systems
- creating documentation for BaFin and other audit requirements
- administrating and maintenance of the Python code in Databricks including error analysis
- processing of incidents (analysis, bug fixing) for issues regarding the application
- analyzing non-functional requirements

- fluency in English (B2/C1)
- university degree in computer engineering / IT and/or similar qualification
- 5 years of working experience as a Software Engineer
- knowledge about clean coding, object-oriented development principles, agile development, DevOps technologies
- at least 3 years of Python experience within commercial projects
- very good interpersonal and communication skills for working in a global environment in hybrid teams
- proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options
