Inbank

If you’ve ever bought something in three instalments or financed your gadget purchase online or in a shop, there’s a good chance you’ve used something we built. We’re not here to be another bank. At Inbank, we’re a modular finance platform helping businesses grow and customers pay with ease. We believe banking should feel invisible—an effortless layer that powers every great digital experience. Today, our financing rails are woven into the flow of 6,000+ leading retailers, giving around half a million customers a one-tap way to pay while turbo-charging merchants’ growth.

There are already 440+ of us across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Czechia, and we’re continuing to grow as we help thousands of retailers expand their business and reach millions of shoppers.

Due to our ambitious growth plans and the need to scale our multi-region infrastructure, we are seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our team on-site in Gdańsk. This is a mission-critical, technical ownership role where you will be the primary 'go-to' technical expert for our IT systems and employee-facing infrastructure across our offices in Warsaw, Gdańsk, and Prague (CZ). You won't just be reacting to tickets; you'll be actively driving the stability, security, and scalability of our workplace technology. You will dedicate a significant portion of your time to proactive engineering, systems optimization, and contributing to strategic infrastructure projects.

What you’ll be doing?

  • Infrastructure Management & Optimization: Serve as the technical owner person for the entire office infrastructure area, including networking, security (Fortigate, Unifi) and server room operations across three locations.
  • System Engineering & Automation: Drive the adoption of an engineering mindset by identifying and implementing automation opportunities (e.g., Python scripting, Zapier workflows) to enhance efficiency, system health, and streamline IT processes like onboarding/offboarding (Zero-Touch IT).
  • Technical Troubleshooting & Escalation: Act as the final point of contact for complex, multi-system technical issues across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments, VPNs, Identity Access Management (IAM), and collaboration tools.
  • Cross-Office Mobility: Be willing to travel to our offices in Warsaw, Gdańsk, and Prague to perform hands-on maintenance, new setup deployments, and provide dedicated on-site support when necessary.
  • IT Ecosystem Administration: Expertly administer and optimize our core corporate IT stack, including Google Workspace, Office 365, Slack, Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), and MDM solutions (JumpCloud or similar).
  • Vendor and Asset Management: Proactively manage IT vendor relationships, procurement, software licensing, and hardware asset inventory.

What you’ll get in return:

  • Engaging and challenging projects with significant professional development opportunities in Infrastructure and Automation.
  • Competitive salary based on experience and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Hybrid, agile, and autonomous working environment.
  • Private medical care (Enel-Med).
  • Sports activity subsidy.
  • A 6-week paid sabbatical after 4 years at Inbank, based on performance.
  • A friendly, results-oriented team.
  • Team events and additional perks.

At Inbank we strive to have an inclusive and diverse working environment, so we welcome you to apply even if you do not match all the points here but think you would do well.

Ideally, you have the following skills:

  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience in a Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or IT Engineering role.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in managing and securing cross-platform environments (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Networking Knowledge: Proven experience with office networking, including configuring and managing firewalls (e.g., Fortigate), network switches (e.g., Unifi), VPNs, and wireless systems.
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM) Expertise: Practical experience with SSO, SAML, OAuth, SWA, LDAP, and API integrations for applications.
  • Scripting and Automation: Familiarity with scripting languages (Python is a significant plus) or workflow automation tools (Zapier, etc.) to streamline IT operations.
  • Expert-level administration of Atlassian, Google Workspace and/or Office 365, and MDM solutions (JumpCloud or similar), MS Defender or similar Antivirus management experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills in Polish and English.
  • Proactive Ownership: You naturally take the lead on IT projects and process improvements, viewing every operational challenge as an opportunity for engineering a better solution.
  • Scalability Focus: You design solutions with Disaster Recovery (DR), Risk Management and future growth in mind, not just immediate fixes.
  • Mission-Oriented: You align technical strategy with core business objectives, ensuring technology is a seamless enabler for the company.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with Zero-Touch and Zero-Trust IT implementation and management for automated device lifecycle.
  • Experience with vendor management, IT procurement, and license management on a multi-national scale.
  • Work experience with ITIL, SOC2, ISO 27001 implementation and audits.
  • A background in a regulated environment (e.g., Banking or FinTech).
