Project description

Migrate existing client teams form SDI Infrastructure Zone (IZ) to ConnMan IaC.

Currently infrastructure services (DHCP, DNS, NTP, Kerb, etc) are using the legacy connectivity infrastructure (IZ), the goal of the project is to onboard them to a new solution: ConnMan IaC.

ConnMan IaC is a Java based solution that has its own domain specific language (DSL), this is recognized to be a barrier to clients' adoption.

A new application (tool) needs to be developed in order to achieve that. Purpose of the tool is to provide client teams with a simplified solution to handcrafting and maintaining ConnMan IaC statements. Both creation of new network firewall rules and migration of existing ones are to be supported in the new application (e.g. Host A may initiate a connection to Host B on port N using protocol X).

Project should be very self-contained, no significant external dependencies expected.
