The project main tool is Documentum - an enterprise content management platform owned by OpenText. The platform provides check-in/check-out access controls as well as workflow capabilities for sequencing document review and approval processes. You as an engineer will maintain and prepare packages for other teams in UBS which use the platform.

Your tasks

  • You will work in Linux environments (strong Linux skills)
  • Maintain engineering environments with different versions of the product (RHEL7, Tomcat, Bash)
  • Engineer and maintain internal software packages for the Documentum project (Git, Gitlab CI/CD, Nexus)
  • New packages verification – deployment and installation of the Documentum components:
  • Content Server, Web Applications, search engine xPlore and other components
  • Prepare and test migration plans of the Documentum components to newer versions
  • Change and apply the project configuration depending on needs
  • Provide technical support to other teams who use engineered packages of the Documentum *Investigation of technical issues if happens
  • Maintain sources and patches of the project in Git
  • Apply and test new patches when the vendor releases them
  • Create from scratch and tune existing Bash scripts if needed
  • Compile existing custom Java modules using step by step instructions
  • You’ll be able to automate routine tasks using Gitlab CI/CD tools and Puppet

Who we're looking for?

  • Linux Administration/Engineering background
  • Strong Linux scripting experience (Shell, Bash)
  • Familiarity with Git/GitLab source repository
  • Familiarity with Oracle DBs (compose and run queries)
  • Familiarity with Tomcat applications
  • Understanding of Java code
  • ARP/LDAP + Java basic
  • Experience as Documentum Engineer
  • Experience with the design, development, testing and deployment of Documentum integrations
  • Understanding of configuration management tools, such as Puppet
