Internship – Python/Java/C++ Intern in Software Development Team

About our Team

We focus on software quality and the development process. We keep up-to-date with regard to all projects in our research hub. Using the most modern solutions, we handle their specification, the verification of software quality and conduct rigorous testing in many places all over the world.

Role and Responsibilities

You will help us develop one of several small Proof of Concepts in the area of modern Development Infrastructure. We want to combine data extraction, code structure analysis and more into working prototypes for further refinement.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand code written by others – mastery is not required
• Working knowledge of GitHub (or similar event-based data source)
• Understanding of the way source code is structured
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language: Python, Java, C++ and willingness to learn other(s) if needed
• Basic understanding of concepts like clean code, static analysis and source code management
• Ability to work with data (with or without supporting tools)
• Good command of English and Polish

Nice to have

• General knowledge of data extraction tools and algorithms
• Experience in merging data between formats and dimensions
• Experience with OOP ie.: at least one object-oriented project with 10 or more classes
