Over 13 years of extensive IT experience, showcasing a minimum of 5 years specializing in Azure Database Migration. Demonstrated leadership in technically guiding, managing, and governing teams. Availability for 24x7 support and flexibility to work various shifts is a prerequisite.

Primary Competencies:

• In-depth comprehension of the SQL server landscape for customer databases

• Proficient in configuring SQL Server High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) in Azure, including Failover Cluster Instances (FCI), Availability Groups (AG) across multiple subnets and regions, and Availability Sets

• Configuration and administration of Security, Policies, Resource Governing, and Azure Key Vault

• Successful migration of SQL Server from On-Premises to Azure Cloud utilizing tools such as DMA, DMS, Azure Data Studio, Log Shipping, Backup & Restore, and other migration methodologies

• Collaboration with internal and customer stakeholders, along with Project Managers, to understand migration requirements and provide tailored solutions

• Lead cloud solutioning Azure activities for large and complex migrations • Planning for Storage and Capacity Management, coupled with creating logical and physical models

• Installation and configuration expertise across various SQL Server versions (200x to 2022)

• Hands-on experience in addressing Windows and SQL server issues, including troubleshooting

Secondary Competencies:

• Design, implementation, and operation of database systems in Azure, focusing on performance and reliability

• Upgrading SQL Server from legacy versions to the latest in both On-Premises and Cloud environments

• Proficiency in T-SQL scripting and PowerShell scripting

• Strong understanding of database performance using various tools

• Adherence to client compliances and expectations

Certifications (Desirable):

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate

• DP-300: Administering Microsoft Azure SQL Solutions

• AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions

Soft Skills:

• Effective customer engagement

• Positive demeanor with excellent communication skills for managing customer calls

• Preparation of solution presentations

• Collaborative teamwork and strong problem-solving skills with effective communication

Educational Qualification: BCA/MCA/BE/B.Tech or equivalent.
