Our team is building a new Volvo product which will enable the Volvo Group to develop new services around Spare Parts. The first iteration of the new product will focus on one of our Business Area Volvo Construction Equipment. Then, we will continue with other business areas. This role of this new layer is to increase the flexibility in the business offer and to do that we need to do it in the IT application landscape. It will create a lot of opportunities but along the way it is expected that we will face challenges as we will need to process large volumes, meet high performance requirements and build something which will be robust. To achieve our ambition we will work with modern technologies and ways of working. The application will be built on Azure Public Cloud and designed in microservices.
