Join our dynamic team to provide top-tier support for client’s products and solutions, focusing on backend services and SDKs. This role involves technical assistance, code troubleshooting, and developer support as part of a global 24x7 support project, organized in flexible shifts. Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to analyze and improve products, ensuring customer success.

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer with JS knowledge, who will work on our project to grow. The positions are related to support, but from a development perspective, this means that we will be working with issues that other developers around the world are facing.

The role also includes occasional weekend support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide solutions for external users and developers by troubleshooting their code
  • Offer technical and development support to users of Firebase products, solutions, and APIs
  • Detect and document bugs and feature inquiries, collaborating with internal teams and customers for effective resolution
  • Work together with internal teams to improve cloud products
  • Facilitate assistance and guidance to users via public forums

  • Capability to read and understand code and craft sample codes to replicate customer issues
  • Proficient knowledge of Linux and Support.Application tools
  • Understanding of at least one programming language: JavaScript, with Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, Java, Python, PHP, C, or Go preferred
  • Flexibility to execute Unix-based systems command line instructions
  • Basic familiarity with databases
  • Background in networking is beneficial
  • Qualifications in API development and experience with REST and JSON APIs
  • Expertise in systems involving authentication and access control
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, including reading and interpreting logs and stack traces
  • Strong analytical capabilities related to metrics and user behavior
  • Skills in researching using internal databases and public documentation sources like Google Developers, StackOverflow, GitHub, etc
  • A robust sense of business ownership and customer orientation
