We are looking for an IT Business Analyst for our client - one of the world's largest natural resource companies. You will be a part of a cross-functional team responsible for maintaining and modernization of the existing trading platform. It is a long-term project that will require close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders and the implementation of new features.
- Analysis, planning and support of implementations for our main Metals and Minerals trading system
- Closely working with traders, asset, and traffic managers to understand change requirements
- Regular communication on existing and future requirements to relevant stakeholders
- Further improvement and maintenance of product documentation for support staff and end users
- Collaborating with Project Managers, 2nd, and 3rd level support as well as development
- Applying our change management process, involving testing in UAT and pre-production environments
MUST
- Education on degree level (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of working experience in a similar trading or financial environment
- Good knowledge of Business analysis methodologies (certification is a bonus, e.g. IIBA)
- Excellent language skills - a high English standard is a must
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to communicate and negotiate with all levels of the business and IT
- Delivery and customer-focused: efficiently delivering quality, hitting tight deadlines while remaining within the system and data architecture principles
- Open and transparent communicator; able to report bad news to
- Self-driven and proud to take ownership
