Understand the application functionality
Understand the architecture and application design
Participate in understanding the changes required for new features
Answer technical questions around basic product usage, installation and functionality
Replicate user reported defects, fix the production reported defects, test and work with support to release new version of the software
Document in the Service Manager system user reported defects and requests
Communicate and collaborate with development team and SMEs on reported incidents
Support per SLA
Construct/maintain knowledge base of SW FAQ's, issues and resolutions
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field and atleast 7 years' experience, or equivalent work-related experience.
Experience with Delphi development environment
Experience with numerical methods
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Independent worker and ability to apply good judgment and decision-making skills
Development in a full Software Design Life Cycle (SDLC)
Proficient with using Azure Devops (source code control)
Experience in Scrum and Agile development methodologies
NICE TO HAVEMS or BS in Engineering preferably petroleum
Experience with Open GL or 3D Graphic systems
Experience developing petroleum engineering software
Field experience particularly in Product Enhancements (frac)
Knowledge and familiarity with fracture analysis and modeling software or fracturing software a plus such as GOHFER, FracPro, MFrac, etc
