Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• You develop the test strategy and define standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
• You create structured test plans (e.g. functional API tests, smoke tests, regression tests) and test cases 
• You perform manual and automated tests (e.g., unit, integration, and load tests) and document progress and results 
• You identify, track, and fix bugs that occur in the software during testing 
• You actively search for new tools, technologies, and testing procedures and drive innovation to streamline testing processes

Who you are

• You already worked as Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role in an international agile environment 
• You have expert knowledge in test automation techniques, various testing methodologies, tools and frameworks 
• You have experience in designing test cases and their execution
• You have good knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language
• You have a good understanding of agile methodologies & DevOps principles, ideally supplemented by certifications 
• You have a university degree in (business) computer science, business administration or similar 
• You are considered as proactive team player with a strong "can do" mentality
• You have excellent communication skills within IT and towards the business at all levels 
• You are fluent in English - German is a plus
• You are willing to work onsite 50% of the time on a monthly basis, with an initial four-week period fully onsite in our Katowice location to facilitate integration and team collaboration.
