  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager for a softwaredevelopment team, involved in the full product lifecycle.
  • Deep understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong servant leadership mindset with a focus on empowering the team.
  • Experience working within software development lifecycles and understanding technicalteam dynamics.
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively withboth technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is essential for communication withinour international environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote/hybrid setting and manage time autonomously.
  • Based in Poland, ideally able to commute to Warsaw occasionally for teamevents/workshops.

● Experience in the FinTech or Banking industry or other regulated environments.
● Experience implementing or improving Agile practices in a growing company or start-up.
● A technical background or good understanding of software development concepts.
● Understanding of modern DevSecOps practices and their integration into the development
lifecycle.
● Experience with other Agile methodologies like Kanban.
● Formal Project Management knowledge or certification (PMP, PRINCE2 - less critical but
valued).

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and achieve their objectives.
  • Coach the team and organization on Agile values, principles, and Scrum practices.
  • Remove impediments blocking the development team's progress, fostering a smooth workflow.
  • Protect the team from external distractions while ensuring alignment with product goals and
  • stakeholder expectations.
  • Work closely with the Product & Engineering Leads to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, estimated, and prioritized.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team and with otherstakeholders.
  • Track team progress and project status using Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts, lead & cycle time) and report effectively.
  • Support the team and Product Owner in planning and coordinating the delivery of product features, ensuring alignment with sprint commitments and overall release goals.
  • Help ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software increments that meet the definition of done and stakeholder expectations.
  • Facilitate the flow of information regarding product support issues and customer feedback, assisting the Product Owner and team in incorporating relevant items and learnings into the backlog and development process.
  • Apply project management techniques within the Agile framework to manage scope, timelines, and expectations for sprints and releases.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on retrospectives and team feedback.
  • Champion a culture of transparency, inspection, and adaptation.
