Missions
As aĀ Senior Product Engineer on our new Growth team, your mission would be to build and iterate on features and systems that drive user acquisition, activation, and retentionāultimately accelerating n8nās self-serve growth engine.
This is a unique opportunity to be a founding engineer on a high-impact team where youāll collaborate closely with product, design, marketing, and engineering peers to improve the entire Cloud user journeyāfrom sign-up to subscription.
What Youāll Do
š§Ā Improve and maintain growth-critical featuresĀ ā Youāll take ownership of flows like signup, onboarding, and the admin dashboard to ensure a smooth, performant experience for every new user
š Ship high-impact experimentsĀ ā Youāll design, build, and A/B test new features to increase conversion and retention ā think upgrade flows, contextual prompts, or new pricing nudges
š§ Ā Scale our growth systemsĀ ā Youāll help build and optimize services to enable user growth at scale, like in-app messaging platforms, billing systems, and email orchestration tools
š Drive measurable business outcomes -Ā Your work will directly contribute to n8nās ARR, user retention, and growth KPIs. You'll track performance, identify areas to improve, and ship iteratively to increase activation and retention

- Adding social login and personalization to our signup flow to optimise the signup funnel
- Building new upgrade and downgrade flows to optimize conversion and retention
- Building an in-app notification platform to push and orchestrate messages to users
Requirements
Who You Are & What Youāll Bring

5+ years of full-stack engineering experienceĀ withĀ TypeScript/JavaScript,Ā Node.js, andĀ VueĀ orĀ ReactĀ (plus HTML/CSS/UI libraries)
- Experience buildingĀ user-facing SaaS productsĀ end-to-end in a start-up environment
