Senior Data Engineer

• Over 5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Deep knowledge of modern data platform architecture, including storage, compute, and enterprise-scale integrations.
• Skilled in designing data models and building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for both analytical and operational needs.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for data processing, automation, and pipeline development.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) in large-scale data engineering solutions.
• Good grasp of data governance, with experience in applying tools for quality, security, and compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, combined with a proactive, collaborative, and innovation-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize scalable data pipelines for processing large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Implement data governance frameworks to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on data sharing, integration, and transfer initiatives.
• Build unified data analytics architectures using Microsoft Fabric to meet dynamic business needs.
• Partner with analysts, ML engineers, and business teams to deliver reliable, production-ready solutions.
• Leverage IaC and DevOps tools (e.g., Terraform, GitHub/GitLab CI/CD) to automate infrastructure and pipeline deployments.
• Continuously improve performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of data workflows.
