QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• As QA Automation Engineer you will work with a complex environments, microservices architecture, and testing of distributed systems. 
• Log analysis, execution of both automated and manual tests, and end-to-end QA flow management within an Agile/Sprint context. 
• The role also includes maintenance and development of integration and regression test scripts using Python and Java, as well as daily interaction with development teams through collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or a similar qualification.
• Java for automated regression testing.
• Python for automated integration testing (BDD with Behave/Cucumber).
• Experience writing feature files and Python step definitions.
• Basic knowledge of Kafka (manual test execution via CLI).
• GitLab for version control, merge requests, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Jira, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Confluence.
• Manual testing and end-to-end flow tracking.
• API testing using Postman and Swagger.
• You are communicative team player with very good English language skills (B2).
• Openness to visit Katowice office weekly.
