About The Team
TRAKTOR software and hardware products have shaped the world of DJing for over two decades and will continue to do so. Our mission for the coming years is to consolidate TRAKTORs competency in pro-grade, stage-ready performance software paired with best-in-class sound quality while offering a high level of integration with adjacent hardware and software technology. As a QA Engineer - Traktor in one of our cross-functional teams, you will actively contribute to this journey on many levels by closely collaborating with developers, product specialists, and power users. You will join an international, multicultural, and creative environment that supports individual growth and sharing knowledge.
Your Contribution
- Ensure our software is flawless in any possible use case.
- Testing Traktor and 3rd party hardware integration.
- Collaborate with developers on effective testing and following quality guidelines as well as during design phases by reviewing requirements.
- Interact with the user community by conducting closed and public beta testing programs.
- Continuously improve our QA processes and coach the team to work with testing within an agile context.
- Automate solutions to improve our quality, decrease workload, and deliver stable well functioning products.
- Create and maintain all relevant supporting documentation for testing including writing thorough bug reports and verification thereof.
Our Ideal Candidate
- You are passionate about music, DJing, and DJ workflows.
- Several years of professional experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Being actively involved in the DJ domain, ideally being a user of TRAKTOR Pro yourself with knowledge/experience with other DJ software and hardware and being familiar with our main competitors
- A degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering or similar.
- Experience in supporting the team with writing test strategies, risk assessments, and design processes.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Bug reporting skills.
- Experience with integration/unit tests and knowledge on how to write tests using Python, Robot, or similar test frameworks.
