We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Procurement Team Leader to join our back office team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead and manage a team of procurement experts, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our procurement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
Develop and implement procurement processes and best practices aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
Ensure full compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct quality reviews and compliance checks on key or high-risk aspects of the procurement process.
Collaborate closely with other departments, including MDM, Procurement, and Finance, to support and achieve business objectives.
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
Proven experience in procurement and/or supply chain management.
Previous experience managing a multicultural team.
Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Hands-on experience with procurement systems such as Ariba or Coupa.
Experience working with ERP systems like SAP R3/S4.
Deep knowledge of procurement best practices.
