Your role at Hostinger
As part of Hostinger's Horizons team, you'll be responsible for leading the development of our recently launched, groundbreaking no-code platform that empowers anyone to build custom web apps using AI—without writing a single line of code. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to shape the future of no-code app creation and help entrepreneurs, creators, and businesses bring their ideas to life faster.

- Lead Product Development: Own the architecture, design, development, deployment, and ongoing performance of the Hostinger Horizons platform.
- Grow and Guide the Team: Lead a team of 10 talented developers, providing mentorship, technical direction, and professional growth opportunities.
- Drive Hiring and Team Development: Take an active role in hiring top talent, onboarding new team members, supporting career growth, and managing the full employee lifecycle.
- Shape the Roadmap: Collaborate on planning, estimation, and strategy discussions to drive the evolution of the product.
- Partner with Product: Work closely with the Product Manager to align on priorities, clarify requirements, and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives.
- Ensure Platform Stability: Take ownership of system reliability, performance, and scalability—ensuring the platform remains robust as we grow.
- Provide Technical Leadership: Tackle complex engineering challenges, unblock your team, and lead by example in solving technical problems.
- Maintain High Standards: Champion clean code, conduct thoughtful code reviews, and uphold best practices in software development.
Your skills and experience:
- Experience: At least 2 years of engineering management experience and 5 years as a developer.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a focus on fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of system architecture, web technologies (Vue3, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTTP, APIs, CloudFlare), and code design.
- Project Management: Experience managing multiple team deliverables and improving the delivery process.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, proactive attitude, and a focus on results.
