This role focus on building the systems, tools, and pipelines that enable engineers to deliver high-quality software more efficiently and reliably. This is not a product feature development role. Instead, Engineering Delivery Support Engineer will work at the intersection of tooling, infrastructure, and developer experience to improve the effectiveness and velocity of engineering teams working in a large-scale monorepo environment. Creating cleaner, faster, and more resilient workflows, robust automation and reliable pipelines are essential to productive software development.
What You'll Do:
Developer Experience & Tooling
- Identify friction points in frontend workflows and design automation solutions to remove them.
- Own and evolve tooling across our client monorepo using technologies like Vite and Nx.
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineers to help them use internal tools effectively.
CI/CD Pipeline Optimization
- Design and optimize frontend-specific CI/CD workflows for speed, reliability, and scalability.
- Extend CI/CD pipelines with capabilities such as preview app deployments, Lighthouse CI, Storybook and static asset analysis.
- Collaborate with platform teams to build standardized, scalable pipeline templates and integrations.
Cross-functional Enablement
- Partner with product engineering teams to identify friction points in build, test, and deployment processes.
- Promote adoption of best practices through internal education, technical guidance, and documentation.
- Act as an advocate for continuous improvement and operational excellence in frontend development.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on experience in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Deep understanding of frontend build systems and tools (e.g., Vite, Webpack, Rollup, Nx).
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), with a track record of building or maintaining pipelines.
- Background as a frontend engineer with a focus on developer productivity, tooling, or infrastructure.
- Excellent debugging and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Nice to Bring:
- Experience working in and maintaining large-scale frontend monorepos.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
- Familiarity with developer experience metrics and a methodical approach to continuous improvement.
- Experience building and maintaining internal developer tools used at scale.
