Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a new project, with the opportunity to build and lead your own development team.
• As both the Team Lead and Technical Lead, oversee the development of Java applications for a key client in the German financial sector.
• Lead your team using Agile methodologies, fostering collaboration and mentoring team members on technical best practices.
• Act as the point of contact for the client, ensuring smooth project coordination and communication.
• Work with a technology stack:
• Backend: Java 17 (or Kotlin), Spring Batch
• Frontend: React, Material UI
• Testing: Junit, Mockito
• Be responsible for the product you build.
• Actively contribute ideas to develop innovative solutions.
• Work in an agile environment, using scrum.
• Meet with your team in the office (Katowice) at least once a month to plan your work and discuss progress.
• Have the possibility to develop yourself not only as a leader but also as a developer.

• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Communication skills in German is a plus.
• Successful completion of higher education as a qualified IT specialist or university degree in computer science.
• At least 8 years of experience working as a Backend or Fullstack developer with Java, ideally with React as well.
• Experience in code testing.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Experience working in a self-organized team.
• Good familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Leadership project experience is a plus.
