Test Automation Engineer (with German)

Responsibilities

• Be a member of a team working for a dedicated customer in the German financial or insurance industry.
• Work with the customer to analyze project requirements and define testing needs.
• Design & Develop test automated scripts in the chosen technology (commercial or proprietary frameworks).
• Support the maintenance of automated test scripts and test automation strategy.
• Be responsible for definition, development, and execution of automated test cases, as well as analyzing test results, creating defects, and retesting them.
• Plan and control test activities and be responsible for reporting.
• Meet with your team once a month in the office in Katowice to plan your work and discuss progress.

• Very good communication skills in English and German (at least B2 level for both).
• Successful completion of higher education as a qualified IT specialist or similar.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation testing.
• Advanced programming skills (preferably Java or Python) and experience working with databases.
• Proficiency in using the following technologies and frameworks: Gherkin/Cucumber, Selenium Webdriver, Postman, REST Assured, Jira, Xray, Jenkins, and Git.
• ISTQB certificate – nice to have (we can support you in receiving one).
