Java Developer

• At least 3 years of experience in a position of Java Developer.
• Proficiency in Angular, Java (target) & Cobol (legacy)
• Knowledge of SOA, API (target), Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins & Mainframe (legacy).
• Open to explore other technologies (Java will remain the primary one).
• Understanding of Agile and Project methodologies: Scrum, SAFe, Agile, and Waterfall.
• Able to work autonomously, take initiatives, and challenge & improve legacy.
• Organized and able to prioritize work.
• High analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with flexible approach.
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Decompose technical and functional requests into detailed user stories by interacting with the Product Owner and the Feature team.
• Develop code using software best practices Craftsmanship (such as BDD, TDD, continuous integration, legacy refactoring and Continuous Delivery).
• Participate in the team's testing, deployment, and production activities to ensure production stability by applying the guidelines provided by Chapters (communities of practice).
• Integrate the vendor software into the internal IT ecosystem.
• Implement and maintain a CI/CD pipeline.
• Participate in Application support (“You build it, you run it”). Analyze incidents, problems, and requests, and coordinate with other teams till closure.
• Ensure application operations (monitoring, alerting, resiliency, ITRM) with the help of the application manager.
• Keep process & documentation up to date.
