Aim of this project is to migrate 94 business applications from old client datacenter to a private cloud.
The Group Private Cloud (GPC) is a private cloud solution for the top OEM car manufacturer, based on DXC Managed Services for Hybrid Cloud. It provides the technology, resources, and services to design, build, and manage a complete, dedicated, enterprise-grade private cloud that is fully integrated into the existing client's IT landscape.
- Coordinate the team members within Migration team (DevOps, Test Engineer, DB Engineer)
- Make sure that all team members of the Migration team are aligned and follow the same processes and standards
- Act as escalation point for any Migration team issue
- Create Detailed Plan / Deployment Architecture and approve them with the client
- Conduct all migration activities according to detailed plan
- Create and execute Cut-Over Plan (incl. Rollback Plan) and review with Client
- Reporting to the Project Manager and Application Owners at client side
- Risk management

MUST
- Strong technical background, including infrastructure and applications layers
- Experience in migration of applications to the cloud
- Experience in creating Detailed Migration & Runbook / Cut-Over Plans
- Experience with any CSP (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience in coordinating and leading virtual teams (onsite/nearshore/offshore)
- Excellent communication skills
