Senior Python Developer (Vue.js)

• Min. 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django, including Django REST Framework
• Experience with FastAPI and PostgreSQL
• Frontend skills with Vue 3, TypeScript, Pinia, and Vite
• Solid understanding of Git and experience with GitHub, including GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• Comfortable working with AWS-based infrastructure (especially EC2)
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to give and receive feedback constructively
• Ability to work independently, ask for help when needed, and think critically about product and technical requirements
• User-centric mindset and a strong sense of ownership

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features and APIs (primarily backend, with some frontend work in Vue.js)
• In the first weeks, work on smaller, focused tasks like bug fixes (e.g., resolving issues reported in Sentry)
• By week six, take on more complex product features, such as implementing dashboard filters or building data analysis pipelines
• Collaborate with the team in daily stand-ups and weekly async all-hands
• Participate in planning via our Kanban system, contributing to a single, evolving backlog
• Deploy code frequently using trunk-based development and automated CI/CD
• Improve observability using tools like OpenTelemetry and Honeycomb
• Contribute to a scalable and reliable product by questioning assumptions, refining requirements, and ensuring end-to-end quality
