As a QA engineer, you will help build the education of the future! At Magister, you get the chance to work in a dynamic scrum team with enthusiastic colleagues. What you will do as a QA Engineer at Magister:
- You test our products, both technically and functionally, to check if the software meets the specified requirements;
- You manually test the functionalities delivered by the development team and provide feedback to the developer;
- You set up automated tests (end-to-end and API tests) to ensure software quality;
- You create and manage suitable test data;
- You continuously monitor the quality of functional and technical changes in our products;
- You monitor dashboards (e.g., via Splunk) and perform both manual and automated tests to identify risks in a timely manner.
This vacancy is really for you, because you:
- Have at least HBO work and thinking level;
- Have experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role within software development;
- Know test methodologies, tools, and techniques, including test automation;
- Understand the software development lifecycle and agile development methodologies;
- Are proactive and driven by continuous improvement;
- Have excellent communication skills and can communicate effectively at different levels;
- Have a critical eye, dare to speak up, and think solution-oriented;
- Have affinity with education;
- Speak fluent Dutch and English;
- Are available for at least 32 hours per week;
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Splunk, PlayWright, and Bruno or Postman is a plus, but not a requirement — we are happy to help you get acquainted with these.
