What you will do as a QA Engineer at Magister:

  • You will test our products, both technically and functionally, to check if the software meets the specified requirements.
  • You will manually test the functionalities delivered by the development team and provide feedback to the developer.
  • You will set up automated tests (end-to-end and API tests) to ensure software quality.
  • You will create and manage suitable test data.
  • You will continuously monitor the quality of functional and technical changes in our products.
  • You will monitor dashboards (e.g., via Splunk) and perform both manual and automated tests to identify risks in a timely manner.

This vacancy is perfect for you if you:

  • Have a minimum of HBO work and thinking level.
  • Have experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role within software development.
  • Are familiar with test methodologies, tools, and techniques, including test automation.
  • Have an understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile development methodologies.
  • Are proactive and driven by continuous improvement.
  • Have excellent communication skills and can communicate effectively at different levels.
  • Have a critical eye, dare to speak your mind, and think solution-oriented.
  • Have affinity with education.
  • Speak fluent Dutch and English.
  • Are available for at least 32 hours per week.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Splunk, PlayWright, and Bruno or Postman is a plus, but not a requirement — we are happy to help you get up to speed with these.
