Job Summary:

We are looking for an Administrative Contracting Specialist to join the Market Access Department of Abbott Diabetes Care.

Your mission will be to lead the strategic analysis and operational implementation of the public tender strategy, contributing to the competitive positioning of our portfolio in the diabetes field.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive management of public tenders:
  • Daily review of official bulletins to identify tender matters of interest to the Abbott Diabetes Care division
  • Analysis of administrative and technical tender documents and identification of requirements from public administration
  • Preparation of the tender documentation and coordination with the sales network to meet the required conditions
  • Preparation of administrative, technical, and economic documentation.
  • Request and preparation of sample shipments for tenders requiring them.
  • Timely submission of tender documentation on various electronic platforms.
  • Processing of requirements and contract execution in all its phases (contracts/extensions)
  • Resolution of incidents related to administrative contracting with various departments of Abbott Diabetes Care (sales, marketing, regulatory, etc.)
  • Processing and deposit of guarantees.
  • Support in processing direct offers to private and public clients.
  • Monitoring of internal tender processes: deadline control, appeals, etc.
  • Updating databases (Bisiona, Wetender, SharePoint) and preparing competitive intelligence reports.
  • Strategic analysis of public tenders in the diabetes area (test strips, glucose monitoring sensors, insulin pumps, etc.).
  • Monitoring and analysis of competition and its impact on public procurement processes.
  • Preparation of reports on public procurement trends, both general and specific to the diabetes area.
  • Implementation of new contracting models and commercial proposals in Autonomous Communities and hospitals.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public procurement, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Advanced knowledge of the functioning of Public Administration tender platforms.
  • Personal skills: teamwork, proactivity, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer tools: user level in Word and PowerPoint, intermediate-advanced level in Excel.
  • Postgraduate training in Public Procurement or Market Access will be valued.
  • Intermediate-advanced level of English will be valued.
