We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to oversee the requirements and testing of the Middle Office product. As a crucial member of the Transaction Services Platform, the QA Automation Engineer will collaborate closely with the Delivery Manager, QA lead, developers, Business Analysts, and other project stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside over 200 industry-leading developers and QA professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should possess 2-5 years of experience in the Middle Office business line, with expertise in Transaction and Reference Data Management Systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage scheduling to ensure efficient and effective product testing, identifying, and reporting risks to project schedule and product quality while proposing new methods to control or mitigate risks.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and reusable test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications documents.
  • Execute various types of software testing, including functional testing, system testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
  • Maintain automated test script libraries for functional regression testing and document software defects in an issue tracking system, ensuring proactive communication with developers and project team members.
  • Participate in business requirements and functional specifications reviews early in the software development life cycle.
  • Generate clear and concise status and progress reports for the QA Manager and project team members.
  • Provide testing leadership for assigned projects.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of test automation experience with strong proficiency in Java/Python and SQL.
  • Knowledge and experience working in an CICD pipeline environment.
  • Experience with tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, and AWS DevOps.
