We’re looking for an R&D Engineer to:
- Support cross-functional product teams
- Design and execute proof of concepts (PoCs) for evaluating and benchmarking technologies for feasibility and alignment with the business goals for informed decision making
- Carry out market research and analyze consumer technology to inform strategic decisions related to technology explorations. Provide insights and recommendations that are in alignment with the organization's needs.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to prioritize technology needs based on impact
- Facilitate communications with other departments to ensure alignment with business strategy
- Lead initiatives to explore and test new ideas that align with long term business goals

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Wealth Management Americas Technology CTO team in Wroclaw supporting cross-functional product teams, with a focus on market research and technology evaluations.

- Bachelor degree in computer science, engineering or related technical field with 5+ years’ experience
- Basic understanding of installing and configuring software, network components necessary for PoC environment setup, as well as experience with virtualization and proficiency in cloud platforms.
- Skills in handling data collection, storage, and processing to support PoC objectives, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Knowledge of setting up hardware components like servers and storage devices to support PoC infrastructure.
- Ability to implement security measures to protect the PoC Environment and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Competence in conducting performance tests to evaluate the PoC environments functionality, efficiency, and scalability under different conditions.
- Programming languages: Python, Java; R is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently within a team environment to achieve common goals.
- Collaborative problem-solving approach.
- Adaptability to change due to regulatory pressures or rapid technological advancements.
- Attention to detail approach.
