The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a detailed understanding of Marketing & Sales business processes. You will apply this knowledge to shape and align IT solutions/services, with a primary focus on requirements management (elicitation, definition, analysis, and documentation). You will be part of various programs and projects utilizing cutting-edge technologies to support business functions in a highly demanding energy market. As a Business Analyst, you will perform various business analyses to support decisions regarding IT solutions.

How you will make an impact

  • Stakeholder management and cooperation: Establish strong relationships with business stakeholders, collaborate with architects, application teams, project delivery teams, and 3rd party service providers to ensure consistent design of provided solutions and estimate required effort.
  • Process management: Capture and visualize business processes.
  • Requirements management: Capture, document, analyze, consolidate, simplify, and prioritize business requirements. Monitor the requirements queue.
  • Solution management: Support the definition of solutions that fulfill business requirements, leveraging best practices. Propose new solutions in terms of functional flows and solve challenging problems. Understand the customer journey and business value realization. Demonstrate how IT solutions work to business users in coordination with the Project Manager and Solution Architect, and answer their questions.
  • Advisory role for stakeholders: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) contributing to functional and technical designs. Provide expertise to business stakeholders, application operations, or project teams to support ongoing operations or develop new solutions. Ensure a good understanding of product and business owner needs, transparency, and continual engagement. Test and troubleshoot final system setup.
  • Documentation management: Ensure functional specifications support the overall solution design.
  • Project participation: Engage in all phases of the project lifecycle.

Your background

  • Education & experience: 5+ years of experience as a Business or Functional Analyst (or similar role).
  • Stakeholder management: Experience and ability to work with virtual delivery teams as well as distributed stakeholders.
  • Business Model experience: Understanding of Business Process Models.
  • Skillset experience: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication, negotiation, and facilitation skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Good to have (not mandatory): Experience working within an ecosystem with SAP S4/HANA, Salesforce, MuleSoft. Knowledge of Marketing & Sales tools and processes within global manufacturing companies, such as sales configurators, planning tools, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
