Project Description

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be part of one of the teams working on the Bingel DC platform. The Bingel DC platform is an adaptive, all-round platform for primary education, focusing on teachers and pupils. It assists teachers in achieving their main goal: getting the best learning outcomes for each pupil. Its modules offer high-quality teaching materials and time-saving solutions for planning, preparing, coaching, and assessing. Pupils in Belgium, Finland, Sweden, and the Netherlands enjoy Bingel as their gamified learning platform for daily use, featuring personal avatars and virtual currency for customization and games.

Work Setup

We offer two work models: a hybrid setup (three days working from home, two days in the office) or a remote setup with occasional visits to our Barcelona office for team events, training, and business trips. Your designated home office should be in Spain, and you are expected to work exclusively within Spain.

Role Responsibilities

You will help build the most innovative and engaging educational applications. As a Frontend Developer, you will be part of a Scrum team, developing new functionalities, solving problems, and analyzing complex issues. You will create proof-of-concepts to aid the team in making technical choices and ensure high quality, motivating your team members to do the same.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript: 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience with LitElement/WebComponents or other modern frameworks.
  • Unit Testing (preferred tool: Vitest).
  • Experience with Nrwl / nx.
  • Implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Experience with Git.
  • English proficiency: B2/C1 (both written and spoken communication).
  • Spanish proficiency: B1/B2 (both written and spoken communication).
