As a Senior Software Engineer on the Dashboard platform team you will have a chance to work on cross functional initiatives that help support the big picture here at SpotOn! From helping teams integrate to providing shared utilities and services, to helping facilitate onboarding and growth, you will have a chance to make an impact! This position is a full stack position, with an emphasis on the frontend (Typescript).
On a daily basis you will:
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions.
- Lead a team.
- Ensure timely and lossless communication across teams.
- Uphold engineering values and best practices.
- Write automated tests to ensure the quality of the software applications.
- Optimize software performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with international teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
- Help mentor other engineers.
What skill are we looking for?
- A strong technical background in software engineering and architecture, with experience in modern programming languages.
- Willing to come into our Kraków or Gdańsk office 2-3 times per week.
- Ability to work independently with very little direction, taking full ownership of projects.
- Identifying blind spots, anticipating challenges, and prioritizing work effectively.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency using Javascript, Typescript, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Experience in writing and/or supporting React.
- Some experience using Python, Django, or FastAPI.
- Experience with RDBMS/SQL is required (Postgres).
