About the Role:
The Gaming Area within Product Development is seeking an experienced Backend .NET/C# Engineer. This team focuses on Game Play and Game Discovery across all Betsson Group brands, aiming to provide the best gaming products and user experience in the industry. The team covers game lobbies, gaming initiatives, provider integrations, and more.
What You Will Be Working On:
You will contribute to the evolution of the Gaming platform, which is central to the company's strategy and supports all gaming sites. Key responsibilities include preparing the platform for containerization, enhancing system scalability, and maintaining high quality. You will be involved in re-evaluating system design to accommodate new requirements and developing exciting new features. This role offers the opportunity to join a passionate team building an industry-leading, scalable, multi-brand platform supporting over 25 online brands with hundreds of thousands of users.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a backend developer.
- Relevant experience with core technical skills.
- Collaborative attitude with a willingness to help and share knowledge.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core 8.
- Experience with .NET Core Web API.
- Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with messaging services in a microservice architecture.
- Experience with GitHub and GitFlow Workflow branching strategy.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Confidence in both written and spoken English.
- Experience with RabbitMQ/Kafka, Docker containerization, and Domain-Driven Design is a plus.
