Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be a key member of a dedicated team serving a customer in the German financial industry. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with development teams to migrate on-premise environments to the Azure cloud.
• Designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Azure DevOps.
• Managing and maintaining containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Contributing to the overall cloud migration strategy.
• Taking ownership of the products you build.
• Proactively bringing in ideas to create innovative solutions.
• Working within an agile environment, utilizing scrum methodologies.
• Meeting with your team in the office (Katowice) at least once a month for work planning and progress discussions.
• Taking responsibility within a self-organized team.

Qualifications:

• Very good communication skills in English and Polish.
• Communication skills in German is a plus.
• Successful completion of higher education as a qualified IT specialist or a university degree in computer science.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expertise in GitLab and Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Experience working in a self-organized team.
• Good familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
