Role and Responsibilities

As a QA Automation Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing Java automated scripts using Selenium library and Cucumber BDD.
  • Creating and executing regression tests across multiple environments as changes are promoted and staged for production.
  • Verifying the health of the website’s user journeys through automated scripts. Manual validation of failures and script updates will be necessary.
  • Raising accurate and detailed defects and issues for Customer review.
  • Being involved in business activities and the decision-making process to be aware of sudden changes that might impact test results.
  • Collaborating within an agile team, providing input for services backlog, sprint planning, story development and testing, demos, and team retrospectives.
  • Building trustful relationships with product owners, developers, analysts, operations, and other team members.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a similar degree.
  • 1+ years of experience with Java application development and support or Automation framework development.
  • 1+ years of experience in Automation testing.
  • Good communicator with strong soft skills to clearly align with the team and explain day-to-day activities to other developers, QA teams, and Client’s managers.
  • Experience working in an agile development process.
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables.
  • Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure and application components (network, application and database servers, storage, computing, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of source code repository tools using Git, Bitbucket, SourceTree, etc.
  • Comfort and adaptability in working shifted hours.
  • Good communication skills in English and Polish.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid mode or remotely with at least 1 visit in the office per quarter.
